Tenggol island is a colorful and vibrant, a perfect escape to the Beautiful, tropical and natural side of Malaysia. Our Snorkeling Tenggol packages give you the opportunity to get out on a boat and observe this mostly uninhabited  island and the surrounding underwater  reefs and sea life.

Tenggol is an ideal location for snorkeling as it has a vast amount of shallow fringing coral reefs with  calm waters where fish thrive. Visibility in the shallow waters is often crystal clear with water temperature  in excess of 30 degrees C. Below in the coral reef are an abundance of small colourful reef fish, anemones, baby sharks and turtles. It is an adventure for beginners, immediate & advance snorkelers alike that anyone can enjoy

From our very own house reef to the surrounding bays of Tenggol you will discover and enjoy the best locations based on the weather and conditions.   Our Boats take an afternoon trips each day for exclusive  snorkel experience with lots of shallow corals and fish, and some days we head to the further locations for a change and adventure.

No matter where you snorkel on Tenggol  you find that the corals, privacy, and the clearest water conditions to enjoy the Tenggol Sea life, are everywhere! Tenggol is part of a larger Marine park so the life and reef here thrive. When you Snorkel with Tenggol Coral Beach Resort our Snorkel Packages include Accommodation , full board meals, Boat transfer, your Scheduled Snorkel Trips and Unlimited House Reef Snorkeling. We invite you to bring along your own Mask and Snorkel if you Have them, We will include Mask, Snorkel & life Jacket with your package either way.
Please Note that No Fins are allowed for snorkeling in Tenggol as part of the Marine Parks Protect The Reef policy.

 Additional Nights on the island May Be added to these packages however its best to notify us if you require nights so we can organise and accommodate you. Extra nights are subject to availability.

    We have snorkel sites for every ability level
    here in Tenggol. The house and ‘Turtle Point’ are perfectly protected to make for nice calm clear water snorkeling. You can see all kinds of tropical fish here like Angel fish, Damsels, Wrasse, Butterfly fish. You may also encounter a baby reef shark or baby turtle around here. By boat you can reach other snorkeling sites with secluded coves such as ‘Rajawali’ or ‘The lost world’. We have huge stag horn coral field to explore around Batu Chachang and a massive varity of hard and soft corals to view at Coral Gardens. Come and see for your self!

    Tenggol Marine Park


    Palau Tenggol is part of a Marine Park group 
    , This mean its coral and wildlife are protected. We actively support its policies to help keep Tenggols corals in beautiful condition. Around Paulu Tenggol you will find that we do not allow boats to anchor over the corals, we discourage fishing and do not allow novice snorkelers on the reef wearing fins. You can enjoy excellent Visibility most of the season making it some of the best snorkeling Malaysia has on offer.

    Tenggol Sea Life


    If you like Nemo
     then Tenggol is perfect for you! All around Tenggol island you can find the False Clown Fish, AKA “Nemo”. The are lots of Anemones where the clown fish live inside for protect.
    Pulau Tenggol is Protected so the fish life here blooms. Whilst snorkeling Tenggol you can find so many fish species it will be hard to name them all. Aside from what we have mentioned already, you will find Batfish are very common and like to swim up to people as they are very curious fish. If you have a good eye, Tenggol is also teeming with micro life, so keep an eye wide in the corals and sea whips for Shrimps, crabs, Sea slugs and Nudibranch! For more info see Our Tenggol Gallery
